[R][A] WHISPERS of the Past

Generations ago the cats of Riverclan, Thunderclan, Windclan and Shadowclan made the long and dangerous journey from their fading home in the forest to the new camps around the great island. They faced many perils along the way, and many more when they finally built their new territories, but eventually these new camps become home……..and though the names lingered on, the cats that followed began to feel that the clans had always been there, and always would be. However, some mysterious event occurred in those territories that sent the four clans spiraling into a terrible four-way war that made the lives of all a miserable affair. Amidst it all, a small group of cats from the four banded together and raised their voices above the sound of battle in an attempt to bring and end to the bloodshed, and return peace to their homes.

Their voices were heard……but the battles were ended only long enough for the clans to turn on the group and chase them out, accusing them all of treachery. Led by four cats: Barkclaw of Windclan, Silverfang of Riverclan, Nightfur of Shadowclan and Dustpaw of Thunderclan, the group fled the bloodshed that had stolen their home from them, appalled at the savagery of their clans, and sought out a new land to call their own. As they traveled they were joined by other loners and the remnants of fading clans and tribes, so that, when at last they came across a place to call their own, the cats had grown to the size of four small clans.
In a single peaceful agreement the cats split themselves and the new land into four, heading out behind the original leaders to create new clans and new lives for themselves in this strange new world, hoping that by bringing back four clans they would coax Starclan into joining them.

Heeding their calls, Starclan did come to the new land, and over time the cats made it their own, molding it into something as great at the original four once where, and remaining careful to keep the old tales in their lives so that they would never forget their past.

But some things are too terrible to talk off, and now no cat knows what caused the bloodshed amongst River, Wind, Thunder and Shadow, or even what became of them. And now the past is whispering again, threatening to let forgotten fates repeat themselves in the new lands.
Will the cats of Treeclan, Iceclan, Waterclan and Nightclan survive? Or will they follow the original four into oblivion?

Whispers of the Past is a semi literate and up roleplay forum which, whilst based on Erin Hunters warrior cats series, is set in all new territories, whilst retaining links to the originals that fans know so well. We are a new site, but neither of the admins (Shadow and Greymuzzles) are novices to roleplay or managing a site, both having had plenty of past experience in long gone forums that we are careful to tap into, and both are friendly and welcoming to all, quite willing to help those that need it. They are keen to help new roleplayers improve and welcome strangers to the world of Warriors, never having any intentions of intimidating those around them (though their posts tend to be long and detailed, especially when they are roleplaying together) and are looking forward to seeing new members join them at the site and held to make their roleplay world a little more dynamic, a little more real.
